My name is Susan Sharpe.

I am a 45 year old Wife and Mother. I have three children, 16, 22, 24, and have been married for 25 years this year.

I have been knitting for over 25 years, and cut my knitting teeth on knitting baby clothes for my eldest child.

I have attempted most kinds of knitting in those years, from baby clothes to adult garments, to toys.

I completed a degree in Three Dimensional Design in 2006, I majored in ceramics. I took up knitting again after the degree, having had a break.

I discovered that knitting had moved to the Internet with a whole new myriad of patterns, techniques and yarns. I swiftly found socks, and love knitting those. And my latest delight is lace weight yarn and shawls.

I would like to work at home with knitting as a basis, and design my own knitted items.
