Method: Knit on straight needles

Notes: A beautiful light and airy design that is easy to memorise.  With the cobweb lace it made a light, warm scarf, present for my sister in law.

Needles: 4 mm and 5mm Dpns

Method: Knitting in the round

Notes: A comfortable and warm beret, that I made by doubling the yarn, and knitting two balls of yarn together.  A vintage button adds some detail.

Needles: 4 mm circular, and straights

Method: Knitting in the round, and on straight needles

Notes: A comfortable and warm beret, made a little large then it drapes

round the back of the head, with a cable on the rim, and a button

to add some detail.

The gloves were knitted on straight needles, with cables added at the cuff

and on the back of the hand to match the cables on the hat.

Needles: 3.5 mm straights

Method: Knitting to and fro

Notes: This scarf uses short rows to achieve the folds of the scarf.

A very enjoyable knit, and one I will do again.

Method: Circular, to and fro

Notes: I love this pattern, so fast to knit and it looks really great

on my ex ceramics tutors hand thrown teapots. Because they

are hand made I had to alter the pattern to make it fit.
