Item name: Rivendell socks
Designer: Janel Laidman
Yarn used: Nino 4 ply
Colour: Ice Cloud
From: The Natural Dye Studio
Yardage: 1 skeins = 400.0 yards (365.8m)
Needles: 2.75mm; 2.5mm; 2.25 mm DPNs
Method: Knitting in the round
Notes: After finding them too tight round the top because of the wraps, I decided to use different sizes of needles.
I used 2.75mm for the top with the wraps, for the main body of the sock I used 2.5mm, and for the heel flap I used 2.25mm

Item name: Horcrux socks
Designer: Susan Lawrence

Colour: Silver Moon
From: The Natural Dye Studio
Yardage: 1 skeins = 400.0 yards (365.8m)
Needles: 2.5 DPNs
Method: Knitting in the round
Notes: I made these for a friend who is a Harry Potter fan, I thought Harry themed socks would be good for her. And the colours of the yarn were exactly what suited the pattern.
I hope she loves them as much as I loved knitting them.

Item name: Cowgirl Slipper Socks
Designer: Ann Budd, Interweave Knits, Winter 2006
Yarn used: Lucia 4 ply
Colour: Twinkle
From: Posh Yarn
Yardage: 1 skein = 365.0 yards (333.8m)
Needles: 2.5 DPNs
Method: Knitting in the round
Notes: I made these for a friend who was going into hospital, I
thought she would appreciate some beautiful socks during
her stay. There was enough yarn left to make a little bag
to go with the them.
The pattern was modified for a finer yarn than was written
in the pattern.

Item name: Columbine Peaks
Designer: Cat Bordhi, Socks Soar on Two Circulars
Yarn used: Lucia 4 ply
Colour: Rhythm
From: Posh Yarn
Yardage: 1 skein, 360.0 yards (329.2m)
Needles: 60cm x 2.50mm, 80cm x 2.50mm Circulars
Method: Two socks on two circulars
Notes: My first attempt at two socks at the same time. Quite easy as long as
you have stitch holders to put second sock onto when moving them
round on the needles for shaping.
